President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. administered the oath of office on Friday to Maynard Ngu, his special envoy to China for trade, investments, and tourism.Ngu, the chief executive officer of the company behind local cellphone brand Cherry Mobile, was sworn in at Malacañang Palace.Part of Ngu's role is to improve trade relations with Chinese business leaders, according to the Presidential Communications Office.
