He admitted after shootaround that the extra day between Games 4 and 5 did little or anything to help the right knee sprain that he suffered in Game 3.
Doncic said he did very little during shootaround and didn’t test his knee in terms of cutting or jumping. “Nothing. I just did treatment. A lot of treatments. Basketball, just nothing. . . I’m just trying to get ready for the game.”When asked how his knee feels, Doncic said: “Not good. It could be way better, but it is what it is. I’ll be ready to go.”Doncic has been congested since at least Game 3 in Dallas, after which he coughed and sniffled through much of his postgame interview. Asked whether he is surprised that he’s still ill, Doncic said yes., Sports enterprise reporter, Mavericks and NBA.
