Many of my family members have been pulling bodies out from the fire, and it’s easily in the hundreds.

There are going to be 1,000 people that have perished. The vast majority of them are so unrecognizable they’re not going to be able to be identified. I feel lucky in comparison. My immediate family’s fine. My youngest sister gave birth just after the fire. So, my family’s growing while others are shrinking.My house is still standing. The fire didn’t jump the highway. They just reopened it to go back to the West side. But I don’t want to see the town, to be honest.
