Maryland co-offensive coordinator Kevin Sumlin was arrested and charged with driving under the influence early Saturday morning in Tampa, Florida, according to a police report.

The arrest came during Maryland’s bye week. The 59-year old Sumlin is in his first year with the Terrapins as co-offensive coordinator and tight ends coach. He was previously a head coach at Houston, Texas A&M and Arizona.
