Feds charged 65-year-old San Antonio man after his customers kept overdosing on drugs
to at least four people, three of whom died of overdoses, at his home in a tony Lockhill Selma neighborhood.
Court records show Stool, 65, was charged in June with drug possession with intent to deliver, but quickly made bail. An affidavit said San Antonio police and Drug Enforcement Administration agents began investigating Stool in May. Stool told investigators that a friend of his, identified by the initials J.L., overdosed on Feb. 26, and that two other people he gave or sold drugs to also had died of overdoses. Another person survived after receiving Narcan, a prescription that counteracts opioid overdoses.Records show Stool had served deferred-adjudication probation for drug possession in 1997.
