CEBU CITY — Fully grown marijuana plants worth more than P6 million were uprooted in a mountain barangay here on Saturday, April 9.
The marijuana plantation was found in Barangay Adlaon, Cebu City, said Police Lt. Col. Chuck Barandog, Force Commander of Cebu City Police Office’s City Mobile Force Company . Barandog said the discovery of the marijuana plantation came amid CMFC’s intensified campaign against loose firearms. “A total of 15,840 stalks of fully grown marijuana plants with an estimated value of P6,336,000 were uprooted,” said Barandog.
