THE Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) said the pledge of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
of all-out support for the troops will boost their morale.'The Armed Forces of the Philippines expresses its gratitude to our President and Commander-in-Chief for his appreciation to the sacrifices of our soldiers in performing their mission to protect the people and the state,' the AFP said in a statement sent to The Manila Times on Sunday.
'We in the civilian government are determined to make sure that when we ask you to do your duty, that you are fully prepared, you are fully trained, and you are complete in the equipment that you need to fulfill that mission,' Marcos said.'I have always said that of all the sectors of society, it is only the military that has never let the Filipino [people] down,' he said.
