PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has approved the promotion of at least 10 Philippine Coast Guard officials, Malacañang announced Wednesday.The Presidential Communications Office released the names of officers who moved up the ranks Vice Admiral and Rear Admiral.Leading the list are Rear Admirals Joseph Coyme, Robert Patrimonio and Ronnie Gil Gavan who now hold the rank of Vice Admiral, the second highest in the command.
, Eustacio Nimrod Enriquez Jr., Edgardo Hernando, Armando Balilo, Hostillo Arturo Cornelio, and Rudyard Somera, meanwhile, have also been promoted as rear admirals.Adel, Enriquez and Hernando lead the PCG Inspector General and Internal Affairs Service, the Education Training and Doctrine Command and the Special Operations Force, respectively.
