President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. has nominated former Light Rail Transit Authority administrator Melquiades "Mel" Robles as general manager of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office "Bilang dating administrador ng LRT, siya ay kinikilala na kauna-unahang administrator to have made that agency profitable [He is the first LRTA administrator to make that agency profitable]," Angeles said.
At present, Robles is engaged in real estate business and has a rehabilitation facility, according to Angeles.
