As the country welcomed the new year, President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Vice President Sara Duterte revealed their wishes for the year 2023, including having enough time for sleep for their families, and acquiring new skills.
The country’s top leaders revealed these in a vlog uploaded to the President’s YouTube channel and other social media pages late January 1.
“Makatulog ng mas mahabang oras. Paabutin ng eight hours ang tulog, ‘wag lang five hours ,” Duterte, who answered the question first, said.“Kailangan matuto akong magpahinga dahil nagkakasakit na, hindi na dapat mangyari yun ,” he said.“On an even more personal level, I would like to spend more time with my family,” he said.
When it comes to new skills, President Marcos said he was, fortunately, a voracious reader, as this lets him acquire much-needed new information.
