FORMER senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has maintained his lead among the 10 presidential wannabes based on the latest survey conducted by the Pulse Asia Research Inc.
The survey also showed that eight percent of the respondents preferred Senator Emmanuel “Manny” Pacquiao, while two percent voted for Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson.Marcos’s running mate, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, on the other hand, increased her lead at 53 percent as compared to her closest rival, Senate President Vicente Sotto III, who rated 24 percent, five percent lower than his ranking during last February’s survey.
Radio personality Raffy Tulfo also maintained his lead among the senatorial bets at 66.9 percent, followed by Antique Representative Loren Legarda with 58.9 percent, former Public Works and Highways secretary Mark Villar with 56.2 percent, Taguig lawmaker Alan Peter Cayetano with 55 percent, Senator Miguel Zubiri with 50.5 percent and Sorsogon Governor Francis Escudero with 49.8 percent.
