Manila Water ended 2022 with 7,460,705 customers served. Of the 8,247 new water service connections, 8,052 connections are residential and 195 are commercial and industrial water connections.
Manila Water has also recorded an increase in its sewer accounts, with 2,816 new sewer connections recorded from January to March 2023, 2,558 of which are combined system accounts and 258 separate system accounts. “The continuous increase of our customer base means we’ve been successful in reaching out to more communities in need of quality water supply,” said Manila Water Corporate Communication Affairs Group Director Jeric Sevilla.
Service accessibility and continuity projects under the 2023-2027 East Zone Service Improvement Plan are already underway, enabling Manila Water to reach more unserved and underserved communities and ensure uninterrupted water supply even during calamities and emergencies.
