Following the waning number of Covid-19 cases in Manila, the city health office logged a zero occupancy rate in their quarantine facilities as of Friday, April 29.
In his Capital Report on Friday, Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso, said all beds in the quarantine facilities are unoccupied.
The mayor said that the National Parks Development has given the local government extended time to use of the Luneta park as the site of the Manila Covid-19 Field Hospital, which offers its services to residents and non-residents of Manila, as well as overseas Filipino workers . Under the vaccination program for children ages five to 11 years old, a total of 104,802 doses were administered, making 46,699 kids fully vaccinated.
The city’s overall vaccination program for adults and the pediatric age group are ongoing, as well as the booster shot programs for transport workers and delivery riders.
