Man stabbed inside store in the Loop, Chicago Police say
CHICAGO -- A man is hospitalized in fair condition after he was stabbed inside a retail store in the Loop, according to the Chicago Police Department. Police say the 26-year-old man was inside the Ross Dress for Less in the 0-100 block of East Randolph Street just before 3 p.m. when he got into an argument with an unknown male. That man then stabbed the 26-year-old victim in the stomach and the back.
Last weekend, a 15-year-old was stabbed near Dearborn Avenue and Lake Street. Police say that, at the time, the boy was walking along the street and was approached by four males. Two of them took out knives and stabbed the teen in the neck. It appeared to be a robbery. A witness told CBS 2 that a good Samaritan jumped into action using a ripped t-shirt to put pressure on the stab wound until first responders arrived, likely saving his life. At least one knife was found at the scene.
