On Scene TVAround 8:30 p.m., Houston police responded to reports of a shooting at an apartment complex near 7600 E Houston Road., Lt. Larry Crowson told OnScene TV reporters. Officials learned that a man had been taken from the apartments to a nearby hospital after being shot.
Police believe the man was shot at a separate apartment complex near Bennington Street after an argument escalated, and then was taken in a private car first to his own apartment, and then to the hospital. The man was expected to survive his injuries as of Saturday night, Crowson said. Houston police are still investigating and have not identified any suspects yet, according to police.
