A man was fatally shot Sunday afternoon at a San Francsico BART station and two suspects are being sought.
SAN FRANCISCO — Two suspects were being sought in the fatal shooting Sunday afternoon of a man at the 24th Street/Mission BART Station, authorities said.
The victim was a 27-year-old San Francisco man whose name has not yet been released, authorities said The shooting was reported about 4:07 p.m. Sunday in the plaza above the station. The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 7:08 p.m. Two suspects fled the scene. BART police were working with San Francisco police to identify and arrest them, BART spokesman Chris Filippi said.
A motive for the shooting has not been determined and police have not yet said if the victim knew the suspects.
