Harris County Sheriff's Office officials investigate a reported shooting at a Mustang Inn on North Freeway.One man is dead after being shot inside a Mustang Inn motel room, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
The Sheriff's Office received reports of a shooting around 10 p.m., Sgt. Jason Brown told OnScene TV reporters. They found Robin Strong, 32, who had been shot and later was pronounced deceased at a hospital, he said. Based on a preliminary investigation, officials believe Strong arrived at the motel in the 16000 block of the North Freeway with another man and entered a room where several other people already had gathered. Strong was shot, Brown said, during"a disturbance."
Harris County Sheriff's homicide investigators are looking for the man who arrived at the motel with the victim, as well as anyone else who may have been in the room, Brown said.
