An affidavit alleged Ethan Myers, 26, 'hears voices and is Satanic.'
Police with the Shelby County Sheriff's Office said Ethan Myers, 26, had been apprehended in connection with a homicide investigation.post that they had visited a home in Joaquin the previous day to perform a welfare check.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention , the homicide rate in Texas is 7.6 per 100,000 people.ABC affiliate KTRE reported police carried out the welfare check after Allen Price and Teresa Louviere came to the sheriff's office claiming:"Ethan Myers had done something to Sarah Hopson."
When police arrived they found a dead body wrapped in a carpet in the bedroom, which appeared to have been freshly painted.
