Police said that at 2:25 a.m., officers on patrol spotted a man lying motionless on the ground at the entrance to Kobe Terrace Park on South Washington Street.
Seattle Fire Department medics arrived and tried to revive him, but the 34-year-old man was declared dead at the scene.
Members of the Seattle Police Department’s Crime Scene Investigation Unit collected evidence and processed the scene.Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the SPD violent crimes tip line at 206-233-5000.
