The Houston Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Saturday evening in north Houston.A man was fatally shot in his car while driving in north Houston Saturday, according to the Houston Police Department.
Officers responded to a call of a shooting and found a crashed car near 7227 Jensen Drive around 8 p.m. The driver had suffered a gunshot wound and he was taken to a nearby hospital where he died, authorities told Metro Video Services.The shooting appears to have happened while the man and the shooter were both driving, police said. It appeared as though both people had been driving their vehicles away from a nearby apartment complex.
Investigators did not immediately say whether the shooting was thought to be tied to a case of road rage.
