The dispute between the two men happened around 10 p.m. in front of the Northwest Food Mart, located at 2395 N.W. Military Highway, San Antonio police said. At one point during the confrontation, one man pulled a gun and fired shots at the other, investigators said. The alleged shooter fled the scene but was detained nearby.Police said the man who was shot was in his 30s or 40s and was taken in critical condition to University Hospital, where he died, police said.
