A Cleveland man died one week after a police say a neighbor shot him in the neck during a confrontation over a flat tire.
Cleveland police arrested a man in connection with the shooting of a 65-year-old man who died on Saturday.CLEVELAND, Ohio — The neighbor, Richard Henderson, 48, is charged with felonious assault, but court records say more serious charges are expected after English’s death. Henderson was arrested on Saturday and a court date has not yet been scheduled.
English waited by his window for Henderson to walk by, according to police. When English spotted Henderson, he walked outside and yelled “Hey!” at Henderson, police reports say. English has 19 prior felony convictions since 1993, mostly for drug or gun possession. He served a two-year prison sentence for shooting at a man during an argument in 2003, and a four-year sentence for shooting a man in 2012, according to court records.
