Man admits he aided Bissonnet trafficking ring that preyed on teens after HISD student's allegations

Opoku's defense lawyer, Brenton Keith Jackson, indicated he would provide comment later on Wednesday.An in-depth look at the Bissonnet Track, which earned an international reputation for street trafficking. Investigators indicate in court documents they believe McGee belongs to the Forum Park Crips, and Opoku and Portillo are also loyal to the Crips.Authorities became aware of the gang-affiliated scheme when the 15-year-old HISD student made an outcry for help to a couselor at her alternative school.
The student told the HISD school psychologist she earned between $400 to $500 a week for sex acts in cars and motels around Bissonnet, but she gave the majority of that money to Chambers, court records show. She told school officials that she recruited other female schoolmates to work for Chambers.
