A man is facing charges in Tennessee after police say he followed a woman in a Walmart and fondled her back and buttocks.
An affidavit obtained by WTVC says the incident happened on the evening of March 18 at the Walmart on Signal Mountain Boulevard.
The report says the victim told officers the man "had followed her through Walmart to the cash register where he made comments to 'help her out of the store' and 'she could go with him.'" This was overheard by a Walmart cashier. Police reviewed surveillance footage and said it showed Levan rub the woman's back and buttocks. The cameras also showed him driving away, but they weren't able to identify the license plate.
The suspect left behind a digital trail that officers could track. He bought something at the Walmart at the same time the incident occurred. Police were able to retrieve credit card information that identified the man as "M Levan." Some more police work determined that the suspect was Levan.
