Police were told there had been an altercation outside and one man had allegedly broken a glass bottle and threatened to kill another man. According to police, one man slashed or stabbed the other man “multiple” times before fleeing in a vehicle. Police said the two men did not know each other previously.
Arriving officers found a 21-year-old with several stab wounds; he was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. Police said his injuries were life-threatening, but it’s believed he will survive.Article contentOfficers conducted a “high-risk traffic stop” at 24th Street East and Second Avenue North and took a suspect into custody without further incident.
