Man accused of shooting San Diego police officer pleads not guilty to attempted murder, other charges [Breaking]
A 30-year-old man accused of shooting a San Diego police officer during a foot chase in City Heights last week pleaded not guilty Friday to attempted murder and other charges.
After the shooting, the gunman manage to elude officers, who shut down the Oak Park neighborhood where it happened to search for the attacker. According to court records, Sartor has a history of stealing vehicles in San Diego County. The June 8 encounter started when the officer tried to pull over a stolen pickup.
