Ravelo admitted during an interview with investigators that he was unhappy with the service at the McDonald’s on NW 36th Street in Miami Springs. “You never think that somebody’s gonna actually do it,” she said, revealing that the altercation left her with coffee burns on her right arm.The thrifty coffee drinker got into a heated argument with the manager “over the amount he was being charged,” according to an arrest affidavit.Ravelo was a regular at the Miami Springs McDonald’s and would routinely order a Sausage McMuffin with an egg on the side, and a discounted “senior” coffee because he is over the age of 55, Garcia said.
Restuccia then intervened, telling the coffee culprit that she did not like how he was treating her staff. She warned him that he would be banned from the eatery if his bad behavior didn’t stop, according to the affidavit.
