Since the group’s debut in 2018, its members have been very vocal about their dream to help the local economy through their music, just like how Korean stars make a significant contribution to the South Korean economy.
PPOPCON also marks the return of live entertainment and a return of audiences since the start of the pandemic. It is a pioneer hybrid event of its kind. “P-Pop is quickly gaining international attention and many fans are recognizing the talent and passion of many P-Pop acts. Through PPOPCON, we are celebrating the growing P-Pop community through the first event of its kind right here at the City of Firsts,” said PPOPCON Project head Andhie Salutin in a press release.
