The YouTuber publicly accused the brand of copying his Lunar Beauty packaging.
Manny first opened up about the similarities between the packagings in a YouTube video posted on March 15. In the video, Manny held up both Lunar Beauty's Moon Prism Powder compact and compared it to Makeup Revolution's new compact highlighter side to side and the resemblance was uncanny. "I've been getting many DMs, messages, comments, about the situation at hand," Manny says in the video.
In the cosmetics world, it's not uncommon to come across products with similar packaging. Makeup Revolution's design, however, is almost identical to Manny's, and this is something he was quick to point out in the video, in which he also shares that his brand had reached out to the brand to see if they shared a factory, which is, according to him, not the case.
