If holiday classics aren't scratching that itch, Vertical Entertainment has an all-new horror movie available this week. The new movie follows an interesting tale of a young new mother who finds a one-of-a-kind lullaby in an ancient text.
Believing the song to be a blessing, the new mother's world slowly transforms around her into a terrifying nightmare as Lilith, the ancient demon, is summoned by mistake with one target in mind: the new baby. The new horror movie Lullaby is distributed by Vertical Entertainment. Lullaby will be available in select theaters, on digital, and On Demand on December 16.
Lilith is historically the first wife of Adam, before Adam and Eve, and is described as a she-demon. Mythologically, she is often depicted as a ruler of Hell along with Lucifer after being banished from the Garden of Eden for not complying with Adams' orders. It will be interesting to see if this is incorporated into Lullaby, perhaps tying into her desire for the child that the lullaby will call her to.
Lullaby is written by Alex Greenfield and Ben Powell and directed by John R. Leonetti. The movie stars Oona Chaplin , Rámon Rodríguez , Liane Balaban , Kira Guloien , and Moni Ogunsuyi . Lullaby joins an eclectic variety of movies distributed by Vertical Entertainment, including the action thriller A Day To Die starring Frank Grillo and Bruce Willis, the post-apocalyptic drama Last Survivors, and the period drama American Traitor: The Trial Of Axis Sally.
