The Land Transportation Office said on Monday that it issued a 90-day preventive suspension on the driver’s license of the Korean man who ran amok inside the Clark Freeport Zone last week.“Due process will be observed on this incident and we assure the public that necessary sanctions will be imposed,” said LTO chief Vigor Mendoza III in a statement.
“Such act manifested an utter disregard of the traffic rules and regulations, making you an improper person to operate a motor vehicle,” the SCO read.“Failure to submit an affidavit of explanation under oath at the above-stated time shall be construed as a waiver to be heard and to contravene the above-cited violation, leaving this Office to resolve the case administratively and accordingly based on the available records,” it added.
