Aside from Palarong Pambansa players, coaches, and trainers, the free train rides will also be made available to national and local committee members, volunteers, staff, and accredited media from July 31 to August 5. They need only to present valid Palarong Pambansa ID to the station teller or the Automated Fare Collection System gate guards, according to the Light Rail Transit Authority .
The 63rd Palarong Pambansa opened on Monday, July 31, despite the heavy downpour of rain brought by Typhoon Falcon and the Southwest Monsoon .This was the first time the games resumed in three years since the COVID-19 pandemic hit the country. The competition proper is set from August 1 to August 5, but some games have already started as early as Monday.
