Filipino military veterans can ride the Light Rail Transit-2 (LRT2), Metro Rail Transit3 (MRT3), and Philippine National Railways (PNR) for free on April 5, 10, 11 and 12, the government announced on Wednesday.
According to the Department of Transportation , this is in celebration of the Philippine veterans week and Day of Valor.
Eligible passengers were advised to present their identification card form the Philippine Veterans Affairs Office to avail the free rides. The DOTr said the MRT3 management allows military veterans to bring one companion to avail the free rides on the same given dates.
