State weather bureau PAGASA on Friday said a low pressure area (LPA) was spotted east of Davao City.
In its 4 a.m. 24-hour public weather forecast, PAGASA said the LPA was located at 835 kilometers east of Davao City at 3 a.m.
The rest of the country are expected to have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to Southwest Monsoon. Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal water up to 2.1 meters are expected over the rest of the country.
