Updated: Oct. 18, 2023, 8:04 a.m.On Sept. 24, police observed a gray Toyota Camry -- which was missing a passenger-side mirror -- run a red light at the intersection of Sprague and Broadview roads.

This meant the man was taking quite the circuitous route. The driver, who had a history with drugs, agreed to a search of the Toyota. The passenger was given a courtesy ride to a friend’s apartment. The man was cited for drug abuse and not obeying traffic control devices.On Sept. 25, a Peppercorn Lane resident came to the police station to report a threatening message she received on her cell phone.
