LOOSE change collected through Coin Deposit Machines (CoDMs) has reached nearly a billion pesos, according to the latest data released by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP). The BSP said the total amount collected reached P950.36 million as of September 15, 2024.

The data showed that the total amount also covered 250.35 million coins or an average of 1,095.72 coins per transaction. Earlier, the BSP aims to double the number of CoDMs within the year to bring this service to Filipinos living outside of the Greater Manila Area .
