TCU locked up a spot in next month’s Big 12 championship game with this win. Texas could still play its way into that game, though it’ll also need some help to get there.Quinn Ewers struggled again. Sarkisian’s play calling didn’t help. Sophomore edge defender Barryn Sorrell made his presence felt early, producing 1 1/2 sacks, two tackles for loss and one pass breakup in the first quarter. And junior nickel back Jahdae Barron was everywhere, finishing the game with 11 tackles, 3 1/2 tackles for loss and the team’s lone touchdown, a 48-yard fumble return that sliced TCU’s lead to a touchdown with 4:25 remaining.
