Attorneys for the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers filed a motion in federal court in Camden on Tuesday to dismissfor PATH, private bus carriers and NY Waterway ferries to honor NJ Transit passengers tickets when some engineers staged a sick-out. On June 17, approximately 205 Engineers marked off, indicating they weren’t coming to work, resulting in the cancelation of 250 trains that day and ultimately rail service was eventually suspended that night. The sick-out continued on June 18 and 19, until, forbidding another job action until the court could rule on a permanent order.
