INDIANAPOLIS — WRTV is taking a closer look at restaurant health inspections after a northeast-side restaurant was forced to close because of a viral video showing food in containers on the floor and a mouse in the building.
"Myself and everybody here [on Monday] do not want these people to be in business in this location, in our community at all," said Councilor Keith Graves. "We're going to be asking for about $250 million a year to bring us up to date on where we need to be for healthcare, health codes and health issues," said Shackleford."We're near the bottom in public health funding. The staffing and support and the resources are limited, and then we have like 95 health jurisdictions across the state.
