MANILA, Philippines — Film studio Focus Features has announced its upcoming horror-comedy "Lisa Frankenstein," starring Liza Soberano in her first Hollywood movie, will be out in cinemas the week before Valentine's Day next year.
The film follows a misunderstood teenager played by Marvel and "Big Little Lies" actress Kathryn Newton and her high school crush portrayed by "Riverdale" star Cole Sprouse, who happens to be a handsome Victorian corpse. The Oscar-winning writer of "Juno," Diablo Cody, wrote the script under the helm of Zelda Williams in her feature directorial debut.
