The CW has officially scrapped the live-action "Powerpuff Girls."
Other projects that were canceled include the Arrowverse spinoff "Justice U, " and the Archie Comics adaptation "Jake Chang." "We've already given those back to the studios," Brad Schwartz, The CW’s President of Entertainment, toldThe pilot of "Powerpuff Girls" was shot in 2021, but had to be redeveloped because actress Chloe Bennet, who was supposed to play Blossom,"Powerpuff Girls" is an animated kids' show by Craig McCracken.
