Interesting that legislators keep getting wealthier while Americans have become third-rate citizens. Republicans are questionable as well, but Democrats are in power currently and they are responsible for the insanity in our major cities.It’s time to get rid of current “leaders” and get some new blood into office, as long as it’s patriotic blood and not the nonsense being pushed now by our questionable “leaders.
On Truth Social, former President Donald Trump wished everyone a “Happy Memorial Day,” writing, “We must stop the communists, Marxists and fascists ‘pigs’ at every turn and, Make America Great Again!”Submit a Letter to the EditorApparently the writer did not listen to any of the programs on the anniversary of the Uvalde shooting.
The parents continue to fight for justice and the prevention of further carnage. They want people to know what happened, to know the victims’ names, to know what survivors experience. The parents, the Express-News and TV stations continue the fight, and I applaud them. Our do-nothing politicians who continue to allow these horrible events would like nothing more than for us all to “move on.”
