I can’t recall ever hearing “Thanks for the tip” from a server, barber or any other person I have voluntarily gifted with a gratuity.If a simple expression of gratitude was made while mentioning a tip, more people would have a better attitude regarding this custom.As Randy Travis sang, “Forever and ever, amen.” Kudos to the letter writer.
The abject failure of our esteemed legislators to address teacher pay while adding to their well-being is an abomination and slap in the face of the education profession. Lots of lip service this session, and the political games played are at the expense of our educators and children. Sad day!
