San Antonio Police Department officers came to the rescue of a Food Bank delivery that tumbled into the roadway.“Change needed in District 1 council position,”District 1 City Councilman Mario Bravo’s position on Proposition A, as laid out in his recent letter to his constituents, sounds little different than that of candidate Jeremy Roberts — in part correctly supportive, in part correctly not.
You praise Roberts for his “business acumen,” but you fail to address his experience and skill in dealing with local issues. In my experience, “business acumen” does not always translate well into local politics.During our Editorial Board meeting with District 1 candidates, Mario Bravo refused to state whether he supports or opposes Proposition A. He is the only candidate we met with, across all City Council races, who refused to take a position. Jeremy Roberts opposes Proposition A.
