A Schaumburg letter to the editor: I disagree with the Daily Herald 'Our View' headlined 'Losers All' that compared protests against the Des Plaines Theater and drag shows in Lake in the Hills and Downers Grove.

I disagree with the Daily Herald"Our View" headlined"Losers All" that compared protests against the Des Plaines Theater and drag shows in Lake in the Hills and Downers Grove. The drag events were not going to hurt anyone or discriminate against anyone.

There was to be no violence, no opinion bashing, just fun a time. On the other hand, the Ron Onesti planned event by Awake Illinois was not a clean, fun event but an opinion-bashing event against a non-violent group in our society. You completely missed the point of why it needed to be canceled. So easy to see, yet so many have their eyes wide shut.
