A Park Ridge letter to the editor: As a former District 64 school board president and longtime Park Ridge resident, I am writing in enthusiastic support of Rachel Georgakis, Monica Milligan, Matt Doubleday and Denise Pearl for the D64 School Board.

As a former District 64 school board president and longtime Park Ridge resident, I am writing in enthusiastic support of Rachel Georgakis, Monica Milligan, Matt Doubleday and Denise Pearl for the D64 School Board. I served on the D64 school board for eight years and am concerned about the current direction and reputation of our school district.

Georgakis, Milligan and Pearl combined have over 70 years of experience in education in a variety of roles and settings. Doubleday brings a rich understanding of a board's role and responsibilities as evidenced by his experience serving on over a dozen nonprofit boards. Please join me in voting for Georgakis, Milligan, Doubleday and Pearl on April 4.
