Donovan Solano plays full game at second base at Triple-A El Paso
Leodalis De Vries is beginning to check off a number of firsts. A day after making his professional debut with low Single-A Lake Elsinore, the 17-year-old shortstop collected his first single, double and stolen base in a 10-8 loss at Rancho Cucamonga on Wednesday. De Vries singled in the first inning and promptly swiped second base. The double came two innings later, with De Vries thrown out t third base as he attempted to stretch the hit to right field into a triple.
Tacoma 2, Chihuahuas 0: 2B Donovan Solano played the entire game and went 0-for-3 with a walk. LHP Jackson Wolf struck out four and allowed a run on five hits and three walks in 4⅔ innings in the loss. C Brett Sullivan went 2-for-3 with two doubles and a walk. LF Tirso Ornelas went 2-for-3 off the bench.
Missions 9, Wichita 6: CF Jakob Marsee went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored, his second two-hit game in a row and just his third this season. LF Zach Reks hit his second homer and drove in four runs. RF Robert Perez Jr. went 1-for-4 with three RBIs and a run scored. LHP Austin Krob struck out six but allowed five runs on six hits and three walks in 4 ⅓ innings in the start. RHP Reggie Lawson struck out two and walked two over 1⅔ scoreless innings.
Great Lakes 11, TinCaps 1 : LHP Jagger Haynes allowed four runs on five hits and three walks in 2 ⅔ innings in the start. RF Tyler Robertson went 1-for-3 with an RBI double, one of just three TinCaps hits in the game.Great Lakes 5, TinCaps 1 :RHP Enmaneul Pinales allowed two runs in four innings in the loss. An RBI double from SS Nik McClaughry was one of three TinCaps hits.
