LeBron James, Lakers Have 'Productive' Discussion About Future, No New Deal Yet - RealGM Wiretap
LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers had a"productive" meeting about their future on Thursday, Rich Paul told Dave McMenamin of ESPN.
McMenamin adds that the two sides have yet to agree upon a new contract, with Paul saying that discussions will continue to move forward. Thursday marked the first day that James was eligible to sign a two-year, $97.1 million extension with the Lakers.James could also sign a one-year extension worth $47 million with a player option.
