The team announced Friday that Davis would be out indefinitely.The Hornets led by as many as 10 points in the first half, but the score was tied 67-67 at the break. In an opening half void of strong defense, the Hornets shot 56.5%, while the Lakers shot 51.1%.
The Hornets were up 129-123 with 1:34 remaining after a three-pointer from Ball. However, a 7-1 run by the Lakers, capped by a James layup, tied the score 130-130 with 42 seconds remaining.
