A mother of three, just 45 years old, died after testing positive for COVID. Her family is suing Kaiser Permanente, saying the hospital refused to give her the COVID vaccine that could have saved her life.
A Southern California family is mourning the tragic death of a mother of three who lost her battle with COVID-19.
Regnier was stabilized at Hoag and then taken back to Kaiser, where she later died, Della Donna said. Della Donna said the family wanted to hold a news conference announcing the lawsuit because,"This is a public service announcement. If you're told you shouldn't get the vaccine because it's a live vaccine that's just flat-out wrong. And everybody whose immune system is down needs to get the vaccine. That's why we're doing this. We don't want this poor woman's life to be taken in vain.
